Good to know before you give
How does Niswartham verify NGOs?
Each NGO submits its registration certificate, PAN, 12A/80G certificates and other documents. Our team reviews them, calls the organisation, and only then issues the Niswartham Approved seal and login access.
Will I get a tax-deduction receipt?
You get a payment receipt instantly by email. If the NGO holds an 80G certificate and you provide your PAN at checkout, the NGO issues your 80G certificate.
Are there any fees?
A platform fee of 5% is deducted from each donation to cover verification, payment processing and operations. The NGO receives the rest. The fee is shown before you pay.
When does the NGO receive the money?
Donations are settled to the NGO's verified bank account after a 15-day settlement period, which allows refunds and payment disputes to be resolved first.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in the cases described in our refund policy. Write to us within 7 days of your donation.
